Privacy policy

Data and purpose
We process your email address, monitored URLs, subscription references and check results to provide the service and manage payments under our contract. IP addresses for free checks help prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
What checks store
Alongside technical measurements we store link findings and up to 20,000 characters from the monitored homepage as a baseline for content-change detection. We visit public pages without signing in. Do not include secrets or personal data in monitoring URLs.
Providers
Hetzner hosts our servers in the EU. Stripe handles payments and Postmark delivers service emails. Card details never reach our servers. Providers process data for their respective tasks, which may involve countries outside the EU/EEA. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Measurements and anonymous events are kept for 90 days. Free checks, including IP addresses, are kept for 30 days. Local delivery data and completed email jobs are cleared after 30 days. Postmark normally retains message content and activity for 45 days; unresolved delivery problems remain until addressed. Current link findings and text baselines are replaced by subsequent checks. Account details remain while the account is in use. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, except legal obligations and temporary backup retention.
Cookies and statistics
An essential session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. We count page views, checks and ordering steps without analytics cookies, advertising or persistent visitor identifiers. Page views with Do Not Track are excluded.
Your rights
You can export account information and request deletion from your account. Contact us for access, correction, restriction or objection. You may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection. The data controller is Olav AB, Sweden.
